Does anyone else wonder why on earth these novels are moving so slow? Or perhaps, really, why are events happening so fast? I mean 50 books in, and we still have only cover 2.5 years! Every time I open the next book and discover it's only been a couple of weeks--or days--since the last book ended, I roll my eyes. Especially when Eve or any of her close circle are injured. Or when one of her big cases becomes a movie---it seems unrealistic that a case would be solved and six months late there is a movie premiere. Trials, convictions, and Hollywood don't move that fast. I'm befuddled by the timeline.
