- Her hair was a white ball of fluff over a face mapped with wrinkles and her eyes beamed the same vivid green as her grandson’s. She had a thin frame.[1]
History[]
- Her daughter (Tiko’s mother) had been busted for illegals, solicitation without a license, and shoplifting that upped to petty theft that upped to grand larceny, with the last couple of busts down in Florida.[2]
- She has been Tiko’s guardian since he was about a year old.[2]

- She told Tiko that a good deed is its own reward and has taught him to have respect for the law.[3]
- She homeschools Tiko two hours every evening, seven days a week, and takes him to church every Sunday.[4]
- For Tiko’s good deed and good citizenship, they received a reward of one thousand dollars.[5]
- She was so pleased, she baked Dallas a lemon meringue pie saying that Dallas could have brushed Tiko off or called Child Services or any number of things.[5]
