- When Eve told her she didn’t trust the HSO because of (former assistant director) Quinn Sparrow being a traitor and Blair Bissel being a murderer, she said that the operatives and handlers who were involved in that incident have been incarcerated, and they have conducted a full and complete internal investigation.[3]
- She also pointed out that the NYPSD had some difficulties with Renee Oberman running illegal activities, including murder, for many years before discovery, but their dishonor doesn’t destroy the honor and purpose of the NYPSD.[3]

She broughts in Agent Slattery of the FBI; his specialty was minor abductions.[6]
- In Connections in Death (March, 2061), she was with the FBI as a special agent.
- In Faithless in Death (May, 2061), she was “Special Agent Teasdale” of the FBI.[7] She and Special Agent Conroy coordinated the FBI raid on the Natural Order farm system.[8] Towards the end of Faithless, she sort of explained her lateral move from Homeland to FBI as: “Opportunity knocked” when Eve asked her if she was looking at higher up.[9]
- In Forgotten in Death (June, 2061), she was referred to as “formerly Homeland and now FBI - and, in Eve’s opinion, on track for the top slot there”; Eve hit her up for information about Johara Murr’s work and education visas from 2020-2025.[10]
- In Random in Death, Eve called her to request a profile and best guess on the next move from the killer, as Mira thought he would change pattern and add rape or another type of physical assault.
