• He was in on a big bust, six months ago, that involved Max Ricker. He and Detective Julianna Martinez got the collar when they tied a warehouse full of illegals to Ricker, got him indicted, but Ricker slipped through (they nailed six others of the cartel).
• Taj Kohli, whom he called a one-shift wonder, was part of the bust but didn’t get “credit” as he was lower on the feeding chain doing mostly drone work.
