Alpha-5 – A gadget that identified and tracked internal homing devices. In Origin in Death, Roarke and Feeney used the XDX version to look for Diana Rodriguez after she escaped from Brookhollow Academy. The signal was being jammed and was weak, but it matched the codes of the implant listed for Rodriguez and was within a mile of Eve and Roarke’s house.[1]
