Interesting Facts[]

  • She made origami flowers or paper animals from litter and passed them out to people who gave her change.[2]
  • She didn’t hustle or hassle, but she kept a little book and wrote people up for rule violations, like jaywalking, littering, shoplifting, trespassing, and not picking up your dog’s poop. The cops frp, the tenth called her “Concerned Citizen” or “CC” and would give her a few bucks after they showed her the page.[2]
  • Officer Urly, who was first on scene (with Officer Getz), told her she had to take care of New York because New York took care of her.[2]
  • When she was twelve, her parents divorced and her electrician father left to join the rodeo circuit, with limited success, for three years until injuries forced him to retire, and death took him at 48 from the effects of long-term drug and alcohol abuse. Her police officer mother moved to a house on the same block as her parents, her maternal grandparents. Her mother and cop grandfather were killed when she was nineteen in what was called the Stillwater Riots.
  • She was studying to be a teacher at Oklahoma State at the time, but came home to help her grandparents and tend to her younger siblings. Her grandfather lived two more years and her grandmother had a breakdown. Her brother, nineteen at the time, studied criminal justice and her sister went into nursing, while she worked as a waitress.
  • At the age of twenty-four, with her brother a rookie with the Stillwater cops, her sister getting her nursing degree, her grandmother living in a retirement community, she married Garrett Wicker, age 30, and an officer with the Stillwater cops.
  • She continued with her education for one more term, going to school at night.
  • She and Wicker relocated to a small town on the Oklahoma/Kansas border, where he took a position as a deputy sheriff.
  • Five years later, her grandmother suffered a fall and died from her injuries. She was listed as too ill to attend the funeral, and a few weeks later, her brother was brutally beaten, set upon by three men. The same night, after her sister left his bedside, she was raped at knifepoint. Both were set up by her husband, Wicker, and probably he had pictures taken to show her what would happen if she tried to get away or tell anybody about his abuse.
  • She lived that way, being abused, for nine years, and then Alva Wicker disappeared, and Alva Quirk was born. Her fake ID was well-done, and she had a decent background beginning in 2047, then later scrubbed. She changed her hair from very blond to very short and brown, brown eyes when she'd been born with blue, two years older than actuality, born in Dayton, OH, an only child, and her address beginning in 2048 was in Morgantown, WV, with employment as a housekeeper in a nearby resort.
  • She got this from her stay at Home Safe Women’s Shelter in Dayton; the ID was made by Allysa Gray.[3] Dr. Grace Habit certified that the injuries were seventy-two hours old, i.e., the night before Alva left home.[4]
  • She wiped her record again in 2062. She caught a glimpse of Wicker at a law-and-order convention at the resort where she was working; Gray wiped her record.
  • Her husband divorced her and remarried, divorced again, remarried again, no children.
  • Her brother named his youngest daughter for her.
