- He was a virgin until age 24.
- The second floor office of his tri-level apartment was a to-scale reproduction of the bridge of the galactic warship The Valiant, from the vid of the same name. His work on the gaming disc for the vid had given his fledgling U-Play its true start.
- He had a date with CeeCee the night he was killed, and she found his body when he was a no-show and didn’t answer his ’link.
- CeeCee called him a really smart big kid.
- His parents lived in North Carolina. He bought them a house on the beach once U-Play took off.
- His AutoChef and friggie menus ran to adolescent tastes - pizza, burgers, dogs, chips, candy. Fizzies and soft drinks outnumbered wine and beer and liquor.
- According to Benny, his unofficial title was Triple B - Big Brain Boss. He was always the smartest one in the room.[3]
- He and his partners had an open invitation to join Roarke’s entertainment division. Roarke spoke highly of him.
- According to Var, he was development and had a good head for business - accounts and clients and the money details, plus he was the public face of U-Play.[4]
- Benny said Bart was the undisputed champ at world building. He was a really good writer, and you combine that with the programming chops, you got something way up. He wrote the outlines and consulted on the scripts for the vid versions of Charrah and Third Star[5]
- Nadine had him on her show a couple of times. She said he was a sweet boy and she hoped Eve roasted the balls of his killer.[5]
- Was the Supreme Wizard of the Gaming Club in college, a TA for a couple of classes, and a dorm manager.[6]
