Big Apple Sky Mall – The “Big Apple Sky Mall” was first mentioned in Holiday in Death[1] as having synthetic snow swirling in the enormous dome. “A teenage boy, decked out in the latest fashion trend of black unisuit and neon checked overshirt, did circles and flips on his new Flyer 6000 airskate - 2058’s hot-ticket item.”[2] The mall was described as a twelve-floor palace of consumption, with mini-carts available for hourly or daily rental to carry customers, purchases, or both.[3]
It was later referred to as the “Sky Mall” in several In Death books, including Betrayal in Death, 'Divided in Death, Visions in Death, Born in Death and Salvation in Death.[4]
It was, possibly, where Stu Uger worked, as it was mentioned that he was employed at the “Sky Mall” in Survivor in Death[5]
Mrs. Aimes worked at Trendy, a chain store in the Sky Mall, in Connections in Death.[6]
It was spelled “Skymall” in Kindred in Death, Possession in Death, and New York to Dallas[7] and “SkyMall” in Festive in Death and Devoted in Death.[8]
