- Father Rodriguez said that after Miguel Flores left for his sabbatical, Father Albano replaced Miguel and Miguel never returned. Rodriguez said Miguel wrote to him once or twice from New Mexico and Texas or Nevada. He said Miguel also requested, and was given, a transfer to a parish in New York.
- He could not recall if it was Bishop Sanchez or Bishop Valdez who granted the transfer.
