YANNI!
A contributor recently asked me about whether or not to add something in the YANNI category. It was a detail that the editor in question felt was a clear YANNI, but that I felt was too ambiguous to be a YANNI. So, after a bit of discussion with other community members, I thought I would write a small post about what is and isn't considered a YANNI.
According to our YANNI category page, the definition is as follows:
YANNI is an acronym for Yet Another Notable Nora Inconsistency ( Noticeable and Nonsensical have also been used in place of Notable) Some listings include mistakes made in the In Death Series, inconsistencies, oddities, or different names given for the same item. Some may be genuine mistakes, while others may simply be items of interest…
Questions!
I am apparently really bad at keeping up on my blog posts here, so, I am going to resolve to be a bit better at that.
In this blog post I am going to ask the "In Death" community for some help.
Occasionally, I get questions about the series. Some of those questions I can answer easily, but for some require some research. This is where the community comes in. If I happen to get a question from someone that I can't answer easily, I will throw that question to you, and hopefully together, we can find an answer.
Recently I was asked: In which book does Roarke give Eve her "Magic Coat?" The person who asked the question thought it was early on in the series, but actually, it's later in the series. The book was "Celebrity in Death," Chapter 12.

A New Sheriff in Town
Hello, Everyone!
I'm AJ, and as of May 26, 2017, I've officially adopted the "In Death Wiki."
For those of you who don't know me, I created and run InDeath.net , a fan site for the "In Death" series. For many years, InDeath.net has maintained its own private wiki for this series. Our wiki, having been contributed to by many devoted "In Death" fans, became the most comprehensive wiki on the "In Death" series.
Recently, the site underwent a massive change, and it was decided that that we needed a change for the wiki. Moving our wiki here to Fandom/Wikia seemed to be the best way to go.
I encourage any and all "In Death" fans to become part of our new "Wiki in Death" community, by contributing as much as possible to help grow this wiki.
Thanks!
