BodyWorks – A fitness center located in midtown on West Forty-sixth and mentioned in Creation in Death. It was a subsidiary of Health Conscience, a division of Roarke Enterprises where Gia Rossi worked as a personal trainer and instructor; Pi was the manager.[1]
There were branches throughout the world, including the one in Florida where Robert Lowell joined under the name “Edward Nave,” DOB June 8, 1989 with an address of the Miami Grand Opera House. He joined five years ago, three months before the death of his first known victim in the state.[2]
Pi's office was a glass box that allowed him to view all the areas on that level of the center. Outside it, people pumped, sweated, trotted, flexed, and twisted.[3]
