Introduction[]
Introduced in Vengeance in Death as the owner/operator of the Penny Pig in Dublin, Ireland and a friend of Roarke’s when they were teenagers.

- An old friend of Roarke’s whom he hadn’t see in fifteen years, more or less (as of 2058).[2]
- Also friends with Tommy, Shawn, and Jennie.[3]
- He’d once been thin as a rail and filled with wicked humor - Roarke said he put on a stone or two; perhaps three (14-42 lb [6.35-19.05 kg]).[4]
- He said his father ran with Patrick Roarke off and on, and did things - all of us did - that weren’t right along the clean side of the law. But he said his father wouldn’t have murdered a girl.[5]

- Roarke still owed him one hundred pounds from the “cargo money”; Roarke offered to send him a case of American cigarettes to make up for the hundred pounds[6]
- Brian called Eve “Lieutenant Darling”[7]
