- According to Peabody, Speegal and Ten had been considered the couple over the past summer.[3]
- Ten had been broken up with Speegal when he appeared at her residence. He was allowed entrance, the two had sex, and he verbally attacked her. Ten went downstairs where he followed her and continued the argument.
- He attacked her and beat her badly. Her injuries included a broken nose, shattered cheekbone, broken jaw, and a detached retina.[4]
- He met Ten when he was in New York shooting a vid last May.[5]
- Ten grabbed a knife and stabbed him to death (eight times - she was not charged).[6]
