Interesting Facts[]
- The fourth of Mira’s five lovers the previous year.[2]
- Told Eve and Peabody that she hadn’t seen or spoken to Mira since the end of November.
- They met at a political fundraiser, where he asked her out for a drink and treated her well. Their first date was dinner at the Palace, where he had a suite.
- After about five weeks he sent her white roses with a card saying how all good things had to end, and it had been lovely.
- Attended Yale on a partial scholarship, but dropped out after one semester. She had stellar grades and had two short stories published in literary venues, but after two months her grades tanked. She managed to get a degree from an online college over the next five years.[3]
- Was in therapy with Dr. Natalie Paulson from 2058 to early 2060.[3]
- She was from New Rochelle and moved back home after she dropped out of Yale. She stayed there about six months, then moved into a glorified flop with Marlee Davis, from Alphabet City, who had a very long, colorful sheet peppered with illegals busts, soliciting sex without a license, petty thievery, and assault, and was currently serving five years in the Tombs for another assault bust.[3]
- There were cheery little articles on her from a young age, and she won various writing contests, some with cash prizes. She wrote her high school blog, did her stint of community service as a peer tutor, and volunteered with Teens for Literacy.[3]
- Eve was able to access data from the now-defunct social media site, We Connect, to find her senior prom picture, where she was a pretty blonde in a bold red dress, hip to hip with a pretty guy in a black suit and bold red tie. Her date went to Harvard.[3]
- After she lived with Davis on Avenue A, she headed back home for two years, and during that time she did two three-month stints at Inner Peace, which was billed as a lifestyle enhancement center, not rehab.
- Had an unopened carton of Chocolate Coma ice cream in her freezer, probably to replace the one she and Downing ate the night Downing came over crying a couple of weeks prior, according to Deena Lacey, her across-the-hall neighbor.[4]
