Cassandra (Palmist) – Palmist

Appeared in Ceremony in Death (October 22-31, 2058)[1]

Description[]

  • She was very young, barely twenty, with her blonde hair coiled into a braid. She wore a silver tunic with a silver bracelet coiled above her elbow.[2]
  • Her voice held a hint of Ireland and she had clear gray eyes.[3]
    • She spoke Gaelic to Roarke with a thick accent; he thought she might be from the west counties.[4]

Interesting Facts[]

  • A palmist who worked at the Psychic Deli and gave Eve a palm reading in Ceremony in Death.[5]
    • To Eve, she requested, “... Madam, the hand you were born with.” She clarified by asking for Eve’s left hand.[2][6]
    • During the reading, she told Eve she was, and is, without blame. As the reading continued, she told Eve that Eve had to protect herself and those she loves.[7]
  • Her face had gone very white, she snagged Roarke’s hand, and spoke Gaelic to him.[7]
    • The gist was that if Roarke loved Eve as much as Cassandra believed, he should stay close; that Eve was in danger of losing her life, perhaps her soul, and she needed Roarke to survive it.[8]
  • She gave Eve a smooth stone in palm green and asked Eve to carry it with her.[8]
