Coney Island Amusement Center – A revitalized amusement center with reconstructed Ferris wheel, carousels, and more. Roarke said it was a New York landmark, a tradition that fell into disuse and disrepair, before being shut down. After the Urbans there was a push to revitalize, renew, and Coney Island benefited from that. When Alex Ricker asked him how much of it he owned in Promises in Death, Roarke said Alex could find that out for himself.[1]
In Indulgence in Death, Ava Crampton was murdered there, in the House of Horrors, Subsection B, Torture Chamber.[2]
Other attractions included the Wonder Wheel, the Cyclone, Murderer’s Row, the Well of Woe, the Tunnel of Terror, and Final Battle. There was also the Shoot ‘Em Up Arcade on premises. In Random in Death, Francis Bryce chose the Tunnel of Terror to assault Delaney Brooke, but thankfully he was thwarted by Eve and Roarke.[3]
