Corner Deli – The Jewish deli where Hank Kajinski and Devin Spruce worked part-time in Random in Death. According to Peabody, “they make incredible cheese blintzes, and their matzo ball soup’s seriously mag.” There was a spotless white counter and equally spotless postage-stamp-sized tables. The place smelled of baked bread, pickles and onions and boiled eggs, all combined into a single, appealing aroma. Eve and Peabody had babka and sweet tea while they interviewed the teens. Hank’s grandmother, Bubbe, seemed to own it, and it was four blocks from Central.[1]
