He or Coke would have done the research on the shoes Johara Murr was wearing, but they were honeymooning that week.^[2]
He worked on the shoes Anna Hobe was wearing when her body was left in front of the Exploration Station.^[3]
He made faces, waved jazz hands, mock shot out with finger pistols in all directions before slumping as if struck by a ricochet, and then mimed strangling someone and using the noose around his own neck and hanging himself, ending with hari-kari, all behind Dickie Berenski’s back when he (Dickie) was harassing Eve about going directly to the lab people.
He identified the shoes as size seven and a half, open-toe pump, four-inch stiletto-type heels, three-quarter-inch platform, polyurethane upper, synthetic sole. They were a style called Andrea, under the City Styles brand and the ones Hobe was wearing were available from 2002 to 2004 in Ruby and in black. They were probably not worn much, based on the lack of scuffing and wear.
