Divine’s – An ice cream parlor where Reginald Mackie took his daughter, Willow, to celebrate after she won competitions and after her killings in Apprentice in Death. They had frozen desserts and yogurt, but also the real deal. Will loved their caramel sundaes. They were pricy and you often had to wait up to an hour to get seated.[1] It was on the East Side and Roarke told Eve she owned it. She’d never been there because they stock their product at home. He said it was the premier ice cream parlor in the city, and Eve told him, “No one can ever know, especially Peabody.” He replied, “I see we’ll be cancelling our plans for the Lieutenant Dallas Frosted.” Jenkinson said they had the best Rocky Road in the city.[2] Baxter said he could always use a scoop of Chocolate Sin in a sugar cone.[3]
Divine’s, the ice cream parlor also called Divine several times should not be confused with Divine, the restaurant, mentioned in Secrets in Death.[4]
