She used her clout to help spearhead the Professional Parents Act and the gun ban, and Peabody’s grandmother, Josie McNamara, marched with her in East Washington back when it was Washington, D.C., at the first Stand Up protest.

- She contracted pneumonia over the winter and it had been a long recovery, not aided by Darla adding soothers to her brandy whenever she was in the basement torturing and killing men.
