Energy Bar - In Holiday in Death, Eve snagged an energy bar and a tube of Extra-Zing Coke from a vending machine.[1] In Conspiracy in Death, Roarke tossed Eve an energy bar he took from a desk drawer, saying, “Your lunch, I imagine.”[2]

In Innocent in Death, Peabody stood in front of a vending machine and tried to decide whether to order an Energy Bar or a Goo-Goo bar. “The Energy Bar is, of course, nutritionally balanced, but the Goo-Goo is delicious...” Peabody settled on the Goo-Goo bar, which contains fake chocolate and sugar.[3]

In Ritual in Death, Peabody asked Eve if she wanted the Razzmatazz or the Berry Burst, saying she kind of liked the Berry Burst when Eve asked what difference it made since they were both revolting.[4]

In Echoes in Death, Peabody offered Eve half of an energy bar, which she said was crap, but it helped. Eve took a bite and said it was terrible and once she heard the name of it (Honey Nougat Cluster Pop), she said “Now it’s somehow worse.”[5]
