Interesting Facts[]

  • Stalked Eliza Lane while she was starring in All’s Fair three years ago, coming to numerous performances. After most performances he would linger outside the stage door for a word, an autograph, or simply to catch a glimpse, and usually had a single red rose to give her. It escalated: he sent flowers, small gifts, and in his notes he started to insist they were meant to be together, that they had been together in a former life. He began to follow her, and then to approach, culminating with his physical removal from a restaurant where Brant Fitzhugh and Eliza were dining. The responding officers found a knife in his possession - he intended to use it to cut the bonds that tied Ms. Lane, unwillingly, to Mr. Fitzhugh. He was arrested and charged, sent to a facility for mental disorders, the Gordon Institution.[3]
  • Had been out of the facility for two months.[4]
  • Helped a customer, Ms. Mussy, take her groceries home once when he was on his break at the Mini-Super.[2]
  • Had a shrine to Eliza: photos covered the walls of the narrow space, vid posters crowded in, and there was a shelf with more photos and flowers and candles, plus signed playbills, all framed.[5]
  • He threatened Eve with scissors when she entered the shrine, she told him not to look but her partner had a stunner pointed at him, and when he looked at Peabody, Eve told him “Told you not to look. Now I’ve got a stunner aimed at you, too. Let’s do the math here - two police-issue stunners in the hands of trained officers. One pair of scissors in the hand of a delusional fuckwit. What do you figure that equals?”[5]
