- He knew Miguel Flores when Miguel served with him at the San Sabastian Mission; Rodriguez had been pastor at the time (before “they” retired him).[1]
- He said that after Miguel left for his sabbatical, Father Albano replaced Miguel and Miguel never returned. Rodriguez said Miguel wrote to him once or twice from New Mexico and Texas or Nevada. He said Miguel also requested, and was given, a transfer to a parish in New York. He could not recall if it was Bishop Sanchez or Bishop Valdez who granted the transfer.[2]
- He mentioned Father Silvia in passing as he wasn’t sure if he received a postcard from the Alamo from Flores or Silvia.[3]
