Funky Junkie – Funk addict. Symptoms included: sensitivity to light; difficulty in identifying color; bleached skin; colorless hair; pinprick pupils; pink rabbit eyes (permanently eradicates pigment);[1] when in withdrawal or needing a “fix,” movements became sporadic and jerky. When a person had been on the funk, even if they’d been off for some time, their eyes got worse when they were nervous, upset, or just tired.[2] Sunlight wasn’t the funky-junkie’s friend, according to Eve in Calculated in Death.[3]
