GM Mini Zip – One of three possibilities for the type of car Marta Dickenson’s killers used to transport her body to Bradley Whitestone’s in-progress property in Calculated in Death. Harpo [sic] was able to identify the fibers on her body as coming from the interior carpet on the Maxima Cargo, Mini Zip, and 4X Land Cruiser - color Blue Steel, standard with the Indigo exterior, or available by custom order, GM introduced the color in 2059 so the model would be either a 2059 or a 2060.[1]
(It turned out to be a 2060 GM Maxima Cargo van, registered to Tony Stark aka Iron Man, aka Milo Easton.[2])
It’s unclear if this was the same vehicle as the Mini mentioned in New York to Dallas[3], the Urban Mini mentioned in Taken in Death[4], the Mini from Concealed in Death[5], either Mini from Devoted in Death[6], or any of the uncapitalized minis in Abandoned in Death[7]
It seems like “mini” referred to a body type, like sedan, more than an actual vehicle manufacturer name in the In Death world, despite its capitalization in all but Abandoned.
