He should not be confused with Gino, a maître d’ at Ciprioni’s who fell all over Roarke in Remember When[1] or Gino, Mina’s ex, although possibly hypothetical; Dolby Kessler gave it as an example of something he needed to tell Eliza Lane as her personal assistant: "Don’t mention Gino when you have lunch with Mina because they’re over."[2]

- When Reginald and Willow Mackie checked into the hotel two days ago (the evening before the sniper shooting at the Wollman Rink in Central Park, the desk clerk, Henry Whipple, started to call him to help them, but Reginald said they didn’t need any help with their bags.
- Henry had him cover the desk while he showed Eve room 1004, where the Mackies stayed.
