Goo-Goo bar – In Innocent in Death, Peabody stood in front of a vending machine and tried to decide whether to order an Energy Bar or a Goo-Goo bar. “The Energy Bar is, of course, nutritionally balanced, but the Goo-Goo is delicious...” The Goo-Goo bar contained fake chocolate and sugar.[1] Peabody settled on the Goo-Goo bar, and bought one for Eve as well, who asked if they made you feel a little nauseous; Peabody replied “that’s part of the thrill.”[2]
