Gordon Institution - The psychiatric institution (for mental defectives) where Ethan Crommell was incarcerated due to his obsession with Eliza Lane. Dr. Ivan Horowitz determined that he had overcome his nonviolent obsession and was ready to be released on parole after his three year stint. In Encore in Death, Crommell threatened Eve with his scrapbook scissors, causing her to arrest him; Mira recommended that he be returned there, under a different doctor’s care.[1]
