Interesting Facts[]
- Was at home icing three dozen cupcakes for her daughter’s scout meeting on her day off when Eve, Peabody, and Callendar burst in, thinking she was Ann Elizabeth Smith, since the apartment was listed under that name.
- She had lived in the apartment eight months, three weeks, and two days, exactly one month after her kid’s no-good father took off on them.
- She worked at a bakery a couple of blocks from her apartment and did cakes on the side.
- Callendar accepted a cupcake with a swirl of creamy white icing that she shared with Detective Carmichael, Peabody, Santiago, and Officer Shelby (Eve declined a piece).
- She found the apartment when Mrs. Waterstone in 103 came into the bakery and said the previous tenant had just walked out - left the last month’s rent and the keys and took her stuff, but nobody knew she’d moved out for a couple of weeks.
- She gave Eve a cupcake for Mrs. Waterstone, who had a sweet tooth and “if anybody knows anything about anybody, it’s [her].”
- Since her apartment was directly over Mrs. Waterstone’s, she was probably in 203.
