- In childhood, Clinton lived in Missouri and relocated, at the age of ten, to Ohio. He enlisted in the army at eighteen and was recruited into Special Forces at twenty.[3]
- Corporals Kirkendall and Clinton both trained at Camp Powell, Miami.[3]

- Born on the same date, at the same health center as Roger Kirkendall, though with different parents listed. Mother, Jane Smith, had twins; one son went to the Kirkendalls, one to the Clintons. And the baby broker collected the fees (fifty years ago).[4]
- They found each other and modified their faces to look more alike; more like the twins they were.[5]
- He and his partners used a black panel FourStar van with New York plates: AAD-4613; they also had laser rifles and were members of the Triangle Group.[6]
- Stunned and apprehended at the Swisher residence; Roger Kirkendall was also apprehended while Jilly Isenberry was killed.[7]
