- Mick Connelly recounted a tale of boosting a lorryload of smokes when they were ten, saying he, Roarke, Brian Kelly, and Jack smoked nearly a carton of them in one afternoon; they “got sick as six dogs from it” and sold the rest to Six-Fingers Logan.[1]
- Roarke offered to send him and his family to the beach for two weeks until the man who was targeting people connected with the murder of Marlena Kolchek’s murderers: “I don’t want another widow or fatherless child on my conscience.”[2]
