Dell, Jamal
Appeared in Forgotten in Death (early June, 2061)[1]
Personal Information[]
- Description: Skinny, pint-size Black man with an expressive face
- Relationships: Koby (brother); Leelo (cousin); Meesha (cousin)
- Occupation: Co-owner and in-house super, apartment building on West 26th Street
Interesting Facts[]
- He owned the building where Carmine Delgato lived, along with his brother and their two cousins.
- He let Eve and Roarke into Delgato’s room, where they found him hanging, still alive, but not for long. He was there to collect the rent or evict him since he was four weeks late. They were there because he’d been dodging Peabody all day when they wanted to interview him.
- They cut Delgato’s body down, but he was basically already dead.
- He and his brother didn’t use swear words, opting for GD, SOB, doggone, jeez, holy cow, gosh, and effing. Their mama wouldn’t allow hard language, and if they said something off when they were kids, they got all heck to pay: no screen time, no ice cream, etc. When they got older she used to charge them $1 for every word, and now they’re just used to censoring themselves even though she lived clear across town.
- His brother recognized Eve and Roarke from The Icove Agenda, which he saw twice, but Jamal didn’t watch it because he can't watch scary vids or he won’t be able to sleep.
- He had a toilet break once in an apartment and Delgato got and installed a new one in exchange for money off the rent.
