History[]
- Her son, Quinto, was killed in the explosion at the sandwich joint where the boomer went off near the Skulls’ territory in 2043.[4]
- Her husband committed suicide, by hanging, on the one year anniversary of Quinto’s death (2044).[4]

- She said she killed the one who killed her son and she didn’t repent. She hoped he was burning in hell.[3]
- After Father López left for morning Mass, she put the poison in the wine for Lino to drink.[5]

- Penny Soto recorded Lino’s voice, when he talked about fooling everyone by playing the priest and being the sinner; he said his real name was Lino Martinez. Penny also recorded him when he bragged about the bombing and played it for Juanita to prove who he was.[6]
- Penny told Juanita that Lino said he’d kill Penny and showed Juanita her bruises where she said Lino beat her.[7] Dallas told Juanita that Penny had played her, that she wanted multiple kills in the bombings, and that it was Penny who pushed the button.[7]

- ”Nita” was in charge of the six- to ten-year-olds at the youth center; she was also their nurse.[1]
- She was a member of St. Cristóbal’s Catholic Church.[8]
- She confessed her crime to Father López and hoped for forgiveness but he told her she had to confess to the police and be repentant in her heart. She wasn’t.[5]
- Cher Reo said she was going to push for second degree, with special circumstances. She would ask for Juanita to serve ten to fifteen years, on-planet, minimum security. And she would have a full psych eval.[9]
- Juanita was given a toss-away ’link by Penny that she was supposed to throw away. She didn’t and Penny’s voice was recorded, implicating herself in the conspiracy to murder Lino.[10]
