• He bought a fancy place in the Caymans with mob money, along with a fancy boat and fancy car. He lived the high life until Captain Martin Greenleaf from IAB dug down.
• His wife had already left him, but his eighteen-year-old son stuck by him. He was found dead by his son - the death was ruled suicide but there were a lot of questions. He knew where a lot of the bodies were buried and may have buried some of his own. His lawyers were pushing for immunity and witness protection.
• His son applied to the Academy but was denied.
• He took bribes and kickbacks from the Lorenzo family, which included individuals he was sworn to investigate. He was with the NYPSD for eighteen years.
