- Was playing Marcie Bright in Upstage when she died, the play opened with Lane in that role.[2]
- Started dance and voice lessons at two, started picking up work - ads, local vids, some stage stuff - before she was three. Bit parts, lots of ad work, did the tutor thing to get her high school diploma.
- Addicted to amphetamines to keep off the weight, keep up the energy and barbs to come down and get some sleep by the time she hit puberty, and was busted for possession in Chicago at age 13.
- Moved to New York when she was 15, had a close call with the pills, ended up in the hospital, rehab, treatment, treatment for her eating disorder, but the ME cited recent abuse there at TOD. Pregnant and termination also at 15, about six months after moving to New York.
- Got a part with billing when she was 16, ran with it for nearly two years, and got a Tony nomination.
- Got her own place the day she turned 18, and booted her mother out, then a few months later got the part of Marcie Bright in Upstage, and then another six months later she was dead, full of barbs and vodka.
- Minerva didn’t tell Eliza that Leah was her stepsister because she wasn’t sure if Eliza would take her on if she knew (out of superstition).[4]
