Story Information[]

  • Was one of four thugs who Eve arrested for crossing state lines with illegal weapons after they tailed her from Ricker’s compound.[1]
  • In interview, Canarde defended him and spoke for him.[1]
  • Eve threatened him with 25 years hard time with no parole, off-planet penal colony because she wanted him to roll on Ricker: “You going to let Ricker make you the sacrificial lamb here? You think he’s worried about the 25 you’ll do in a cage?”[1]
  • Eve saw the glitter of fear in his eyes but Canarde whisked him away before he could spill.[1]
  • Eve re-interviewed him without Canarde the next day, guessing correctly what Canarde told him: “You’ll do some time, but you’ll be compensated.” You’ll be in “a nice, cushy facility. Five years, ten tops. And you walk out a rich man.”[3]
  • He thought he was already a dead man since Ricker could find him anywhere, even in Witness Protection.[3]

  • Canarde claimed no knowledge of Lewis preparing to roll or immunity being offered and was going to inform his ex-wife and brother of his tragic death.[4]
