Interesting Facts

• She and Ira were attacked and robbed by Kyle Knightly, dressed as a ghoul in November, 2060. Ira was restrained and beaten with fists and a sap, and she was beaten, choked, and raped. There were sound effects of howling wolves during the entire event.
• This was done after the couple returned from their annual Thanksgiving weekend in the Hamptons. Their house droid took their bags upstairs and didn’t return. Ira went up, found the droid disabled, and was assaulted. He woke up restrained to a chair and she had a black eye and a knife to her throat. Knightly, dressed as a ghoul - gray face, cadaverous cheekbones, wearing an old-fashioned black suit. He told her to strip or she would gut Ira, then when she did he dragged her to the bed, smacked her around, and raped and choked her. He left her on the bed to beat the crap out of Ira, then he went back and raped her again, telling her to scream “you’re the best I’ve ever had” and when she didn’t, he cut her until she did. He got the safe combos out of them, knocked them around some more, then came back and raped her again, telling her repeatedly that it was the best she’s ever had or knew she wanted it. The whole time Knightly was raping her, he was watching Ira. He struck Ira on the back of the head with a sap, and cut Lori loose. When she regained consciousness, she called 9-1-1. The assault took 2 hours and 20 minutes and he took the contents of their safes, along with some expensive bric-a-brac, a small painting, a bottle of high-end brandy, and one of her dresses, with shoes and bag.
• Detectives Nikki Olsen and Stan Tredway of SVU were assigned the beating/rape cases for the Patricks and the Brinkmans.
• She had done some script doctoring of thrillers and screen writing under other names.
• She and Ira were at the Celebrate Art Gala the previous April (2060), and she recognized a picture of Daphne Strazza Eve showed her. She saw her in the ladies’ lounge, crying and with a fresh bruise on her left bicep, as if she’d been pinched really hard. It turned out that the two couples, along with Rosa and Neville Patrick were all at that event. The Brinkmans and the Patricks also attended the Winter Ball two years ago.
