Interesting Facts[]
- Self-terminated using his service weapon while under investigation for what turned out to be a twenty-six year career span of corruption. He had over two decades of bad acts, polished over with citations for bravery, shiny medals, and promotions.
- He ran a small, tight syndicate of cops on the take - witness tampering, political bribery, and protection rackets.
- Captain Martin Greenleaf exposed the syndicate with the help of a rookie Noy had begun to groom - Officer Kent Boxer’s body had been found in a meat locker, hanging from a hook. He’d been tortured and beaten before his throat was slit.
- His daughter found his body.
- His family lost their home and everything else Noy had accumulated through his corruption.
- Just shy of five months later, his nineteen-year-old son, a criminal justice major at NYU, hanged himself.
- Ella now lived on Long Island and remarried the previous year (2060).
- Elva Arnez, who insinuated herself with his family, devised a plan to have Greenleaf and his son die in the same ways he and Brice did. Her cohab, Denzel Robards, killed Greenleaf, trying to make it look like he self-terminated and they hanged Greenleaf’s oldest son, who was rescued before any permanent physical damage was done.
- He met his wife when her fiancé was killed, and Noy was primary; the killer was still inside. Three years later, they married and she became a professional parent.[2]
