- Was eating lunch with her friends, Brenda Dietz and Cellie in Café West; she left before the holocaust, complaining of a headache, but Brenda was slaughtered.[2]
- Was saving money by walking the eight blocks to and from work every day. Denied herself food, so when she felt a headache coming on she walked out of the café, thinking it was due to not eating enough, and she was in a bad mood.[2]
- Cellie ended up at the hospital in critical condition.[3]
