• Was accidentally killed by Maureen Stibbs, who then covered up the accident by planting letters from a “lover” and putting her body in the bathtub.

• There was a packet of love letters found in her lingerie drawer from someone who signed his name “C” though there was no indication, suspicion, or rumor of a lover.
