- A tall man with dark skin and a rich baritone. He was muscular, strikingly handsome, with large, liquid brown eyes, and an athletic way of moving.[2]

- He had family in Chicago and was visiting them when “Father Flores” died. He changed his shuttle flight to return early after hearing of the murder.[4]
- He was good friends with “Father Flores” (Lino) and ran with him in the mornings.[5]
- They’d head east to First, then go north to East 122nd. Turn back west, to Third Avenue, south from there to finish the loop.[6]
