Mercury – Primarily, an import-export business involved in shipping, deliveries, and rapid transports. Roarke acquired Mercury about ten years ago (c. 2048) when it was a poorly organized and failing business. Cicely Towers, Marco Angelini, and George Hammett were all investors and served on the board in Glory in Death. Mercury was named after the Roman god of speed[1] and, though it was a “clean” business, it hadn’t always been.[2]
