Mermaid Club – The club closed its doors at 3:00 a.m.; Patrick Murray worked at the club as a cleaner and met his wife, Loretta, there. The first time he saw her, she had been swimming like a fish in the aquatic floor show for which the club was renowned.[1] Inside the club, there was a back room, a lounge, and a large tank for water. Liam Calhoun attacked Patrick (he removed his eye), restrained him, and tried to drown him in the tank in Vengeance in Death.[2]
Roarke won the Mermaid Club years ago in a dice game; it was one of his first downtown properties. He kept it a couple of years then sold it at a tidy profit. It was currently owned by Silas Tikinika.[3]
