History[]
- Born: Dublin, Ireland[4]
- Her father was a solicitor, her mother a doctor, in Dublin.[7]
- Moira worked on a crisis line in Dublin when Siobhan Brody, Roarke’s mother, called; Moira took Siobhan and six-month-old Roarke to a shelter. When Siobhan left the shelter, Moira went to her home and met Patrick Roarke. She was certain he killed Siobhan.[8]
Interesting Facts[]
- She had lived in America for thirty years; she moved to New York at the age of 26.[9]
- She used to work for Carnegie Health Center prior to going to work at Dóchas.[9]
- She had kept track of what Roarke had been doing over the years. She considered him a bad seed, as she saw that he ran much the same as his father. In the last couple of years, she heard other things and reconsidered; when she heard about Dóchas, she knew it was time to talk to him.[10]
- She gave Roarke a small photograph of Siobhan and Roarke taken at the shelter.[11]
- She liked plenty of cream in her coffee.[12]
