She heard Eve knocking on Blake’s door and opened her door a crack to let her know that Blake wasn’t home.
She told Eve Blake hadn’t been home all day or the previous night. She saw her leaving with suitcases the previous day and taking some stuff out of her apartment two or three days prior.
Her second floor neighbor, Ms. Kolo, told her Blake’s law office was closed that and the previous day.
She said Blake hadn’t been around much the last couple of weeks.
She recognized Lydia Su’s picture, saying she saw Blake and Su together at Ginaro’s a week ago, buying produce and such, but instead of bringing it back to the apartment, they hauled it down the street and around the corner.
She said Blake was quiet and kept to herself
When Eve told her she had a warrant to search Blake’s apartment, she told Eve “You got the badge. I know how to keep to myself, too” and shut her door.
