- His body was found ten days before the first confirmed kill (Nashville, TN), and in between another missing person points to a murder: Ava Enderson, who went missing about the same time Noah’s remains turned up.
- He’d recently broken up with his girlfriend and had a pushing match with the guy she dumped him for, but that guy was alibied tight and didn’t read like a killer.
- Did okay in school but opted for an online course instead of going to college so he could stay home and help with the family business, a garden center.

- People liked him.
- Eve didn’t think it was their first kill because it seemed more like a crime of opportunity - he had lent his small truck to a friend and then stayed late to work one-on-one with a kid before walking the kid home. He told the kid he was going to take a shortcut home, but never made it. Eve thought the first kill had a purpose, that the person had something they wanted.
