Portography – Owned and operated by Dirk Hastings in Portrait in Death. A photography business where Hastings lived on the fourth floor, kept his studio on the third floor, and used the lower levels to sell cameras and camera equipment (level one was for sales and level two, the Portography Gallery). Hastings worked the Morelli-Desoto wedding in January, 2059, which was where Gerald Stevenson saw Rachel Howard.[1] Kenby Sulu and his ballet class (from Juilliard) were photographed by Hastings[2] and Alicia Dilbert had her portrait done there.[3]
In Obsession in Death, there was also mention of a two-tiered parking level, with non-working cams because kids kept zapping them anyway.[4] The address was 358 West 108th Street,[5] although it was on West 115th Street in Portrait in Death.[6] (YANNI)
