- Had known Dr. Anthony Strazza for more than 25 years, and liked him about ten days out of that time.
- Was golfing in Miami for a friendly, annual tournament during the time the Strazzas were attacked.
- Dr. Strazza wasn’t a likeable man, but when Wythe broke his leg and shattered his elbow several years ago in a skiing accident, he was airlifted to St. Andrew’s Hospital and Dr. Strazza operated on him; his elbow and leg are better than new.
- He was the trustee and executor of Strazza’s estate.
- Has a small putting green in his office, saying playing golf helped him think.
- Dr. Strazza’s estate left almost everything to St. Andrew’s Hospital, and almost nothing to Daphne.
- He had a daughter, who was the second Wythe at the firm. She’d been married for three years and was about to give him his first grandchild.
- His father and grandfather were lawyers, and his son was a detective with the NYPSD, who Eve said was a good cop.
- He told Eve Daphne’s medical expenses would be paid out of the estate and he would advance her whatever she needed for lodging and living expenses.
