Royal Bar – Located inside the Roarke Palace Hotel, the Royal Bar was a key attraction and was known to be posh and fragrant where, on some nights, live classical music was provided and couples danced on the dance floor.[1] Charles Monroe and Louise Dimatto had their first date at the Royal Bar in Seduction in Death[2] and Jamal Jabar had been employed there for the last three years.[3] Blaine DeLano’s editor was meeting with one of his other writers for drinks at the Palace Hotel bar the night Chanel Rylan was murdered in Dark in Death; presumably this was the Royal Bar.[4]
