- Caucasian; there were telltale spiderwebs of broken blood vessels over his dented face, obvious signs of malnutrition, and the scabs of what was likely some unattractive skin disease.[4]

- He was found dead in his crib (located in the Bowery) with a fist-sized hole in his chest; whoever had taken Snook’s heart had done so efficiently (surgically); according to Morris, it was “beautiful work” - first-rate organ removal under anesthesia.[6]
- His heart was logged as brokered organ S-351; regeneration procedure begun January 13; procedure unsuccessful; sample terminated and disposed of, January 15.[7]

- According to Morris, his heart was, likely, next to worthless, his liver was shot, his kidneys were a mess, his lungs the color of a coal mine, and a body full of disease. He estimated Snooks would have died within six months anyway.[10]
